    The study deals with the reception of the works by a Danish classic writer, comedyThe study deals with the reception of the works by a Danish classic writer, comedydramatist, fabulist, poet, novelist, historian and moralist Ludvig Holberg in Russia ofthe 18th century focusing on the writings translated into Russian from the German,Latin and Danish — or untranslated yet containing information about Russia, its monarchs and history.
