About the author:
Abstract:
The perception of Esenin’s life and work in Latin America is considered as an extensive branched nonlinear process, the interpretation of which is based on a combination of historical-literary, socio-cultural and general theoretical methods. Attention is focused on the identification-value and dialogic perspectives of reception, while reconstructing the Latin American understanding of Esenin, special attention is paid to revolutionary, avant-garde and universalizing contexts. The research material, which is being introduced for the first time into Esenin studies, is the essays of J. C. Mariategui (Peru), poetry by G. Rojas (Chile), poetry by J. Laurentino Ortiz (Argentina), poetry and essays of J. Teiller (Chile), poetry and essay studies of C. Tiempo (Argentina) etc.
