Esenin’s Remarks as a Means of Dramatizing the Action in the Poem ‘Pugachev’

Abstract:

The article is devoted to a little-studied topic related to the artistic searches and innovative discoveries of Esenin as a playwright. In the process of analyzing the micropoetics of the dramatic poem “Pugachev” the author of the article explores the art functions and typology features of the remarks used by the poet in the poem. On the basis of a comparative textual analysis of the draft with the final text of the poem the evolution of the author’s idea is revealed. According to the researcher, Esenin as a playwright opens up new opportunities for the author’s presence in a dramatic work. He is an innovator in the poetics of the drama, because the functions of the remarks go to the other elements of the artistic structure of a dramatic work.
