Abstract:

The article surveys and analyzes the main trends in the development of contemporary Sholokhov studies in Russia, paying attention to the new important and significant editions of the works belonging to the writer’s literary heritage. Productive theories, new facts, materials, and documented evidences are summarized in the present publication, which also highlights a pioneering and fundamental character of the reference and bio-bibliographic literature dedicated to the writer. In conclusion, the article outlines the development prospects for the given branch of literary studies.
