Abstract:

The article is dedicated to the further studies on Vs. Vyshnevsky’s reception of the novel And Quiet Flows the Don and provides the previously unknown letters written by the dramatist to the literary critic I.G. Lezhnev. The introductory article contains basic information on the relationship between Vs. Vishnevsky and I. Lezhnev, as well as on the content and peculiarities of their epistolary dialogue about M.A. Sholokhov’s literary works.
