Abstract: The article describes the experience of immersion in the literature on the works of Platonov, which was held for the second time in a rural school (Kolbinskaya Secondary School, Kolbino, Voronezh Reg.) with students of grades 5–11. The immersion was attended by 31 middle and high school students and 10 elementary school students (2nd and 4th grade) joined in one of the work cycles. The group guides and co-organizers of the immersion were students of the 11th grade and a student of the Voronezh Pedagogical Institute. The need for immersion was dictated by the orientation to a system-activity approach to learning, which is the methodological basis of the Federal state educational standard of basic general education and is focused on the formation of information and communication culture of students and cognitive activity. The appendix to the article contains two essays by Alina Rudakova (7th grade) and Ivan Klevtsov (10th grade).
