Abstract: This publication presents Platonov’s drafts of unrealized articles and stories in 1941–1945: “On the Road in the North of the Country” (1941), “The Story of the Partisans” (1943), “Captain Efremov” (1944), “Major Efremov” (1944), “Freedom Worker” (1944), “Beautiful Russia” (1944), stories about Colonel/General Kuzmin and Colonel Baklanov (late 1944 – early 1945), as well as “The Idea of Officer Meshcherin” (1945). Some of these texts turned out to be divided between the archives of Moscow and St. Petersburg. This publication unites their disparate parts for the first time. The introductory article provides the necessary explanations regarding the dating of texts.
