Abstract: The proposed study is devoted to the publication and historical analysis of hitherto unknown Platonov’s correspondence of 1925–1926 with county reclamation workers. The reconstruction and description of the main topics of correspondence involves the wide range of the archival materials, as well as the central and provincial periodicals of these years. The new materials not only clarify and supply the chronicle of the writer’s life, but also provide unique material for commenting on Platonov’s classical texts (“Epiphany Locks,” “City of Gradov,” “Juvenile Sea,” “Building Materials and Equipment”).
