Abstract:
This publication presents documents (book reviews, correspondence) related to the internal publishing discussion of Platonov’s literary work in the 1940s. The authors of critical statements are such writers as V. Shklovsky, Vs. Vishnevsky, critic V. Alexandrov, and others. The article preceding the publication presents previously unknown facts from the chronology of Platonov’s interaction with the publishing house in 1941–1947, based on the writer’s personal accounts.
