Abstract:
The article discusses the stories of I. Bunin, created in the 1890s — “Tan’ka”, “Teacher”, “At the Dacha”. The relevance of the problem is seen in the fact that the stories are analyzed from the point of view of the originality of the eсphrasis. The features of musical and pictorial ekphrasis, which create a culturological range of meanings, are noted. An important role is played by the reception of events as a special view of the world by the heroes of the stories. In the process of analysis, the role of ekphrasis in the development of the plot, the image of the inner world of the characters, the identification of the author’s view of events is revealed.
