Abstract:
This article focuses on analyzing М.М. Prishvin's short story called "The Treasure Trove of the Sun" in the context of Russian cosmism philosophy. Although some scientific works have explored the influence of Russian cosmism on Prishvin's artistic work, few have specifically analyzed this story. Therefore, this article aims to examine how Prishvin's cosmist views are reflected in this story. The article delves into Prishvin's approach to nature, which clearly shows the influence of Russian cosmism; discusses the symbolism of the swamp imagery; analyzes the relationship between humans and nature; examines the protagonist's initiation from a cosmist perspective; and highlights the similarity between Prishvin's organic approach and cosmism philosophy, as seen in the scene where Мitrasha is rescued by the dog Travka.
