Abstract:
This article analyzes the diaries of two highly dissimilar authors, Mikhail Prishvin (1905-1954) and Witold Gombrowicz (1953-1969). Despite working in different times and places, both authors share a resistance to the established public image and contextual myths. This resistance trans- forms their perception of methodology, leading to a unique and extraordinary observation of the world. This study examines the similarities and contradictions that shaped Prishvin and Gombrowicz's literary journey. Вy comparing individual fragments of their diaries and common biographical elements, we discover the unity that held together their contrasting observation methods.
