Abstract:
This publication analyzes the virtual content that focuses on the life and work of Mikhail Prishvin, with a focus on how his works are received and updated. The author provides an overview of popular formats of reader activity and records the most successful projects, which include the book communities of the VKontakte social network. These virtual communities offer an opportunity to understand the reader, who acts as a member of a literary club, where the readers react through printed messages, photographs, and links which can be studied as textual material. The article pays particular attention to the community resource in the VK "Mikhail Prishvin House-Museum in Dunino," where for several years a new post has been published daily with a quote from Prishvin's diary, according to the current day and month. An additional feature of this community is the high activity of participants who comment on both Prishvin's texts and each other's statements. Motivational analysis of readers' comments allows us to determine the most frequent reactions to precedent texts, to describe the collective image of the modern reader of Prishvin's books, and to identify the bond concept that determines the quality of the virtual conversation between Prishvin and his reader.
