Abstract:

The Great Patriotic War had a great influence on Soviet literature, many writers participated in it. However, the work of the poets of previous generations also influenced the frontline lyrics of the Great Patriotic War. This article is devoted to the problem of the influence of the poetry of Eduard Bagritsky on the lyrics of his son Vsevolod. The examples of the poetic works of father and son reveal the traditions of revolutionary romantics of the 1920– 1930s in the work of frontline poets, and trace the connection between two poetic generations. By examining the biographical and historical contexts and analyzing the poems of these poets at different levels of the text, it was possible to trace the tradition of romantics of battles and campaigns in the poetic work of Vsevolod Bagritsky.
