Abstract:
The article deals with the poetic and real fate of the Russian emigrant in Yugoslavia, an outstanding Slavic scholar, poet and anti-fascist of the Second World War I.N. Golenishchev-Kutuzov (1904–1969). The focus is on his wartime poetry as a reflection of the worldview and practices of the younger generation of Russian interwar emigration in Yugoslavia, including the Union of Soviet Patriots in Belgrade. A comparison of the poetic practices of I.N. Golenishchev-Kutuzov and A.P. Durakov is made. The role of I.N. Golenishchev-Kutuzov as the compiler and translator of the collection “Poets of Yugoslavia” (Moscow, 1957) is considered.
