Abstract:
The article is devoted to the life and work of the Russian émigré poet Alla Golovina. The subject of the study includes both the Prague and Paris periods of A. Golovina’s poetic career, which are examined as part of the creative dialogue between the two “capitals” of Russian émigré literature. The analysis shows that A. Golovina’s poetry is largely influenced by the aesthetic principles of the Prague ‘Skit,’ which include generous use of metaphors, objectivity, and the poetic transformation of the world. A. Golovina’s poems reveal the main characteristic of her poetic world, where the earthly and the heavenly are united, and every detail of the earthly reality intersects with the heavenly, concealing a metaphysical depth.
