Abstract:
The article examines the history of the writing of the feuilleton by A. Krayny The Non-Adult Critic (1914) in the context of the relationship between Z. Gippius and K. Chukovsky. Variants of the title, functions of the subtitle, citation strategies of the author, the main motives and ideas of the feuilleton are analyzed. The atypical style of this text for the pre-revolutionary newspaper and magazine issue of Gippius (stylistic and genre originality, literary and game character) is revealed. It is proved that the feuilleton is the only published opinion of Gippius on Chukovsky’s books, parodying his critical techniques and his favorite genre of literary portrait.
