Abstract:
The article provides a brief description of the art collection of the State Museum of S. A. Esenin. It is one of the most valuable parts of the museum’s collection. Two sets of materials are considered in detail: the archives of Yu. L. Prokushev and G. McVay, which received by the museum in recent years. Some unique museum objects are considered separately — a portrait of Esenin by David Burlyuk from the Gordon McVay archive and a graphic portrait of the poet made by Georgy Yakulov.
