Abstract:

The article examines the history of the visits of Mikhail Aleksandrovich Sholokhov to Germany. Special attention is paid to his journey to the German Democratic Republic in 1964. The article proves that this visit contributed to the development of Sholokhov studies in Germany and Eastern Europe.
