Abstract
Non-classical periods in the comprehension of historical material allow to identify the most significant characteristic of the phenomena. After the estate epoch became a time of comprehension of the real scale of culture of the noble estate, its special role as an important part of the national heritage. The household life of the estate seems relevant in the unity of the forms of material activity of the enlightened landlord and his spiritual experience. However, the “estate dictionary” in its encyclopedic completeness is not able to present estate everyday life as a sphere of life-creation, to reveal the facets of the interaction of textual and non-textual reality. The main task of studying the Russian estate can be considered a contextual approach, for characterization of internal scripts that are retained in the texts of Russian literary classics.
