Abstract:

The bibliography on Futurism forms a separate layer in literature, the “Futurists”, of course, being not only Mayakovsky, whose vis-a-vis Shklovsky — and not the fellow poets — plays the role of the LEF theorist. There are several reasons for this. The most obvious of them is that only following the example of such a poet as Mayakovsky, Formalists (who were not always called this way, only at a certain moment) managed to build their system. It is this part of the entire vast body of literature about the poet that we will touch upon next.

  • Keywords: Formalist method, Shklovsky, sequence and audio editing, time and poetry rhythm, the Mayakovsky’s accent verse.
