Abstract:
The article presents an analytical review of A.N. Tolstoy’s articles written during the Battle of Stalingrad: “To Feats, to Glory!”, “Not One Step Back!”, “Russian and German”, “The Dark Days of Hitler’s Army”. Special attention is paid to the writer’s civic position during the Great Patriotic War, as well as to the genre features of the works that have become an integral part of the journalistic chronicle of the war years.
