Abstract:

The article is devoted to the history of translations of works by S. A. Esenin into French. The article provides periodization, brief biographical information about some translators and reveals their pseudonyms. In the appendix various versions of the translation of the last two verses of the poem “Goodbye, My Friend, Goodbye...” is given.
