This article focuses on the architectural realities of Peter the Great epoch in the novel Peter the Great by A.N. Tolstoy. The author describes the architectural realities of Russia, the countries of Europe and East depicted by Tolstoy, compares its description with the architectural realities of Peter the Great epoch, shows the value of architectural images in revealing basic ideological meanings in Peter the Great novel.
