Abstract:

The article is devoted to the collection of objects associated with the name of A.S. Pushkin, stored in the S.A. Esenin State Reserve Museum. It highlights the exceptional role of Alexander Pushkin in Russian culture and his influence on the work of Esenin, who called Pushkin his most beloved poet. The Pushkin collection of the museum-reserve is quite extensive and includes photocopies of Esenin’s image at the monuments to Pushkin in Moscow and Tsarskoye Selo, manuscripts and models, including S.A. Esenin’s poem “To Pushkin”, works of art (medals, tokens, sculptures, graphic works, ex-libris), printed products (albums, postcards calendars, brochures, newspaper clippings), as well as objects of decorative and applied art with the image of the poet. The collection includes academic articles and materials exploring Pushkin’s work and his connection with Esenin. These objects not only preserve the memory of Pushkin, but also demonstrate his enduring importance for Russian culture. Many exhibits have participated in exhibition projects more than once, which emphasizes their historical and artistic value. In conclusion, it is concluded that A.S. Pushkin remains an inspiration for artists, writers and other cultural figures, and his image continues to live in the works of art and the memory of the people.
