Abstract:
The article considers materials dedicated to the 90th anniversary of S.A. Esenin’ birth. The materials presented make it possible to assess the magnitude of the activities carried out. Separate attention in the research is paid to evidence relating to the period of the poet’s life, and subsequently opened on the basis of the preserved object — second-grade teacher school —department of the S.A. Esenin State Reserve Museum. The events of October 2, 1985, related to the beginning of the work of the Klepiki exhibition of the museum are covered. As part of the synthesis of materials the results of many years of experience gathered by the employees of the division, which carried out the search work, are presented. The collected and recalled memories allow to reconstruct the sequence of the school period of Sergey Esenin, as well as to clarify some information about the functioning of the school. In the series of texts presented, field records of the first custodians of the department who spoke with elders and collected archives deserve special attention.
