Abstract:
The paper provides a survey of the critical reviews of Bunin’s contemporaries and works of literary critics about the cycle of essays “Hram Solntsa” (“The Temple of the Sun”) / “Ten’ Pticy” (“The Shadow of the Bird”) (1908–2021). It also indicates the main interpretive strategies, within the framework of which the researchers interpreted Bunin’s text. Studies are grouped into thematic blocks to simplify orientation in the presented information array. At the end of the review, a chronological bibliography of works on “The Shadow of the Bird” is given and the selection principles are stipulated. The bibliography is not duplicated in English.
