Abstract:

The article considers the mechanisms of creating the artistic specificity of the Russian Newpeasantry’s prose, based on the introduction of a verse beginning in it: syllabic-tonic metrization, the use of versification, rhyme, quoting poems and songs. From this point of view the prose of S. A. Klychkov, N. A. Klyuev, S. A. Esenin, A. Shiryaevets, P. I. Karpov, P. V. Oreshin, A. A. Ganin, R. M. Akulshin (Berezov), P. A. Radimov is analyzed. The conclusion is made about the integrity of the described phenomenon and its twofold genesis: a direct connection with the traditions of folklore and the Old Russian literature and more indirectly — with the search for modernist (primarily symbolist) prose of the turn of the century.
