Abstract:
The article examines the activities of B. Kellerman after World War II, largely determined by cooperation with the Soviet Military Administration in Germany (SMAD) and driven by his desire to establish contacts between the two countries. Special attention is paid to Kellerman’s trip to the Soviet Union as a member of the first post-war German delegation, to the writer’s perception of Russia and to his essays.
