Abstract:

The article focuses on I. Gruzinov’s collection “Raspberry Shawl”, in which the influence of S. Esenin’s work is felt both at the level of the subject matter and in the development of the color palette. The color palette of Gruzinov’s lyrics is saturated, using specific, pure colors. The color designations are direct (pink, green) and indirect (dandelion, frog). Color imagery determines the features of Gruzinov’s phytopoetics: the landscape in his texts is animated, while the image is conventional, the images of trees (pine, birch, alder, etc.) are more frequent than the images of flowers (bell, dandelion, etc.). In general, the images of plants are not self-sufficient, they serve to reveal the central line of the lyrical plot of the collection — a conversation about the path of life, the flow of time.
