Abstract:
The review focuses on the reception of Dostoevsky’s work in Italy on the basis of the available translations into Italian of the novel Notes from Underground (1864). The general context of the early reception of Dostoevsky in Italy is given, as well as information about the European translations of Notes from Underground, made earlier than the Italian one.
