Abstract:
The article examines the methodical potential of the chronotope explication of S.A. Esenin’s lexis in the context of teaching Russian as foreign language. The relevance of the issue of identifying the spacio-temporal characteristics of lexems of Esenin’s texts is the inclusive and cross-disciplinary character of this type of cognitive and analytical learning activities and orientation on the principles of a functional and communicative work with a text in a foreign language audience. The purpose of the present paper is modelling of a learning activity type for working with Esenin’s texts on the basis of the chronotope explication of the poet’s lexis. During the present work the research materials identifying the fi ction aspects of the Esenin’s works, on the one hand, and the ones demonstrating the proper linguistic and lexicographical attempt of explicating chronotope, on the other hand, are being compared. The results of the present article are based on the attempt of combining the lexicographical and fi ction components of the chronotope of S.A. Esenin’s lexis and analyze its potential in learning activities in a foreign language audience.
