Abstract:
The collective monograph “Sergey Esenin, His Contemporaries and Successors” is devoted to the topical issues of contemporary Esenin studies and the study of Russian literature of the 20th century, as well as to issues of textual and source studies, literary and historical contexts.
The results of the research presented in the materials that compiled the monograph are used in the preparation of the fundamental academic work “The Esenin Encyclopedia” and will undoubtedly become a useful source for the creation of academic biographies of Russian writers and artists of the 20th century. The monograph could be relevant for teachers and students studying Russian literature and culture, also it could be included in the educational process — in lecture courses and special courses on Russian literature of the 20th century.
Keywords: S.A. Esenin, history of Russian literature, textual studies, source studies, contexts.
